Food Facts: Everybody has eaten Chinese rice, but do you know that the ones that you eat in restaurants or buy from frozen brands can contain a lot of sodium and oil. This means that eating any fried rice from stores is unhealthy, so this is why we will be making Indian fried rice!! Let us get started!!!!!!!!
What You'll Need
- Cooked rice (one cup per person)
- Half or one chopped onion
- One teaspoon of chili powder
- 1/2 tablespoon turmeric
- Salt (as per taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon of mustard seeds
- One pinch asafoetida powder
- Two-three tablespoons of oil
Indian Fried Rice |
- First, take the measured oil and pour it in a pan, then add mustard seeds.
- Second, once the seeds crackle, put asafoetida powder in the oil.
- Then, put the boiled rice in the oil.
- Fourth, put salt, chili powder, onions, and mix thoroughly.
- Next, fry for 3-4 minutes and adjust the taste of the rice.
- Serve warm, and enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
